Final Approach Radio
Accent colour

The raw recordings.

Just the tower. No beats, no edits, no loop. Clean air traffic control recorded in person at each airport, sorted by frequency, licensed for whatever you're building.

What's in a pack

Every album I release starts as hours of raw radio from one afternoon at one airport. The pack is that raw material, cleaned up and organised: one folder per frequency (tower, ground, approach, departure, ATIS), with each transmission cut to its own file and named by time and channel, plus the long continuous takes for anyone who wants the gaps too. Lossless, with a text file listing what was on the air, the runway configuration, and the weather that day.

O'Hare's pack is the first: about five and a half hours of voices across forty channels from August 3, 2026, east flow, the international bank arriving over the cell phone lot.

Who it's for

Producers

Real transmissions to cut into your own tracks, from the actual airport rather than a sample library's idea of one.

Flight sim & game audio

Authentic ambience per airport, with the real phraseology, the real callsigns, the real rhythm of a busy tower.

Sound design & film

Background radio that sounds like the place, because it is the place.

The licence, in plain words

Buy the pack once and use the recordings in your own work (music, games, sims, film, podcasts, installations), commercial or not, with no per-project fees. Two things you can't do: resell or redistribute the recordings themselves as a library or pack, and present them as your own field recordings. Credit is appreciated, not required. [Full licence text to follow once reviewed: owner.]

A note on the source

These are my own off-air recordings, made on an airband receiver from public ground. They are not LiveATC streams or archives, which belong to LiveATC and can't be used in third-party products. Controllers are federal employees, and their transmissions are public. I record, clean, and organise. That's the work you're paying for.
